🇫🇮 Finland Short Stay Visa (Schengen Type C)

🕒 Overview

• Purpose: Tourism, business, family visit, or short-term stay

• Maximum Stay Duration: Up to 90 days within a 180-day period

• Visa Validity: Up to 180 days

• Processing Time: Approximately 15 calendar days (may extend up to 45 days in individual cases)

💰 Visa Fees (Payable in Cash, Card, or UPI at VFS)

*Applicable to: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Georgia, North Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia, and Ukraine.

Includes all applicable taxes.
Must be paid along with the visa application.

✋ Biometrics & Photo

• Mandatory: Fingerprints + Photo for applicants 12 years and above

• Exempt:

  • Children under 12 years

  • Holders of diplomatic or service passports

  • Applicants exempt under special categories (see below)

🆓 Exemptions from Visa Fees

Visa fee is waived for the following categories:

• Family members of Finnish citizens

• Applicants covered under Directive 2004/38/EC

• Diplomatic and official passport holders

• Students, postgraduates, and teachers travelling for study/educational purposes (case-by-case)

• Researchers travelling for scientific research (case-by-case)

• Representatives of non-profit organisations (aged 25 or below) attending seminars, conferences, sports, cultural, or educational events (case-by-case)
