🇨🇳 China Visa (Short Stay – L/M Type)

🕒 Overview

• Visa Type: Sticker Visa (Short Stay)

• Categories:

  • L Visa: Tourism / Family Visit

  • M Visa: Business / Trade Visit

• Stay Duration: As approved on visa (usually 30–90 days per visit)

• Visa Validity: As granted by Embassy/Consulate (Single, Double, or Multiple Entry)

• Processing Time:

  • Regular: ~5 working days

  • Express: 2–3 working days (additional fee applicable)

📍 Jurisdiction in India

Applicants must apply at the CVASC (Chinese Visa Application Service Centre) based on their residential jurisdiction.

💰 Visa Fees – Indian Citizens

Note: Visa fees are set by the Embassy of China and are subject to change without prior notice.
Fees are non-refundable, irrespective of visa outcome.

🧾 Service Fees (CVASC)

Total Payable Cost = Visa Fee + CVASC Service Fee

💳 Payment Method

• Cash only at the CVASC Visa Application Centre

• Fees are collected in INR based on the prevailing exchange rate.

📄 Required Documents

All documents must be original or clear photocopies in English (where applicable).

For Tourist Visa (L Type)

• Completed Visa Application Form (printed and signed)

• Valid passport (minimum validity 6 months, with 2 blank pages)

• Recent passport-size photograph (as per China photo specifications)

• Travel itinerary – confirmed flight and hotel bookings

• Proof of funds – recent bank statements or financial documents

For Business Visa (M Type)

• All of the above, plus:

  • Official invitation letter from a Chinese company or trade partner

  • Business registration certificate or trade license (if applicable)
